More Than a Pump Factory, YOUNAI’s Expertise in Stainless Steel Materials
When you’re handling corrosive fluids in a chemical process, material choice often makes the difference between success and failure. The corrosion resistance of the pump’s wetted parts directly determines its lifespan. Stainless steel, however, is a broad family of materials. This requires deep material application expertise, supported by extensive experience.
With our materials lab, we are not simply a pump factory. We are stainless steel specialists. This means we can select the right grade for your application, achieving optimal corrosion resistance and longest service life for your centrifugal pump.
Therefore, we’re the trusted partner to the chemical, waste water, petrochemical, and many other process industries, and our stainless steel centrifugal pumps are the foundation of successful, long-running pumping operations.

Application
In chemical plants and other production facilities, corrosive fluids are a common daily reality — and stainless steel centrifugal pumps are what move them.

Capable of pumping a wide range of corrosive media, caustic soda, sulfate, hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid, acetic acid, etc.

Handles water for injection (WFI), purified water, fermentation broths, and Clean‑in‑Place solutions.

Transfers corrosive industrial wastewater, chemical dosing chemicals (sodium hypochlorite, coagulants), and treatment sludge.

Moves circulating cooling water, heating hot water, and alkaline or acidic cleaning agents for building systems.

Designed for seawater intake, high‑salinity brine concentrate, and desalinated permeate water.

Suited for hydrocarbons, sour water, lean/rich amine solutions, and catalyst slurries in refining processes.

Circulates condensate, cooling water, flue gas desulfurization slurries, and boiler chemical feed solutions.

Conveys acidic leach solutions, copper sulfate solution, and abrasive mineral slurries in hydrometallurgical extraction.
Deep Experience with Stainless Steel Materials
YOUNAI puts serious effort into studying the materials that go into stainless steel centrifugal pumps. We understand how different stainless steel grades performance in real service and have built up a strong base of application data and project records. super duplex stainless steel 2507 in particular, we pair advanced casting and welding processes with highly skilled welders — significantly lowering the risk of pitting and crevice corrosion. Better corrosion resistance directly helps extend the operating life of our centrifugal pumps.
YOUNAI runs a materials laboratory in partnership with the Materials Engineering program at Jiangsu University. This collaboration has significantly advanced our centrifugal pump capabilities in areas like materials testing, damage diagnosis, welding, heat treatment, and surface treatment, putting us far beyond the industry standard.

Beyond the Pump, Solving Fluid Challenges
More than a pump manufacturer — YOUNAI delivers full-service fluid conveying solutions. Instead of just looking at the pump, we look at the entire fluid transfer picture. By selecting the right stainless steel centrifugal pump model and material to ensure high efficiency and excellent corrosion resistance, and then configuring a proper mechanical seal flush plan, our engineers minimize leakage at the source and help you significantly extend service life. Did your pump fail due to corrosion? Is your seal leaking again? Is your pump cavitating again? These are familiar challenges in chemical plants. We solve them professionally and reliably.
Tailored to Customer Requirements
Customized Solutions: From the initial drawing to the final, successful operation, YOUNAI’s customization capability runs through the entire lifecycle. To meet specific customer requirements, our customized options include the choice of different stainless steel grades, special dimension designs (e.g., large-diameter configurations), flexible suction and discharge arrangements, special thermal insulation jackets, and adapted installation methods.

Why Choose YOUNAI

- Deep expertise in stainless steel welding / For each grade, the optimal method — plasma arc (PAW), laser beam (LBW) or TIG — is selected and backed by precise post-weld heat treatment and thermal cycle control, ensuring superior corrosion resistance.
- CFD-optimized wetted parts improve hydraulic performance.
- State-of-the-art production facilities and machinery deliver high-precision manufacturing with consistent accuracy and repeatable quality.
- A wide enough product range to meet most of your pump needs in one stop. Simplifying procurement process helps you avoid compatibility issues between products.
- Over 10,000 stainless steel centrifugal pumps produced annually, a solid production track record, ready capacity for growing high-performance demands.
The grade choice depends on your fluid’s chemical composition, temperature, and whether it contains particles. For general corrosion, 316L works well. For high chlorides or seawater, 2205 or 2507 is needed. If you’re dealing with large volumes of hot chlorides, titanium or Monel pumps are a better fit. We can help you select based on your specific parameters.
YOUNAI’s stainless steel centrifugal pumps are typically available in grades 304, 316, 316L, 2205 duplex, 2507 super duplex, CD4MCu, and 904L. The choice depends on the fluid’s corrosiveness, chloride content, and temperature.
Yes. Even the exact same grade (such as 316L), its perform may differently depending on impeller geometry, flow velocity, weld quality, and whether the volute design truly avoids dead zones. High-velocity spots can strip away the passive layer. Stagnant corners are often where pitting starts. We don’t just match a material to your fluid. We optimize the hydraulics around the actual corrosion mechanism.
Porosity, shrinkage, or inclusions in stainless steel castings create weak points where corrosion initiates, especially in chloride or acid services. Every stainless steel casting we use is inspected for soundness and density. A clean, defect-free casting translates to smoother flow surfaces, higher efficiency, and a longer service life.
Every centrifugal pump passes flow and head testing and hydrostatic pressure testing before leaving our factory. For 2205, 2507, CD4MCu, and 904L, we also run PMI material verification, damage diagnosis, and weld quality checks to make sure these pumps hold up well in severe corrosive services.
Standard 304 centrifugal pumps can often ship within 4 weeks, while complex customized pumps and special material grades may take longer.
