The axially split divided pump housing structure design of the double suction pump makes maintenance more convenient. Just remove the screws on the pump body to open the pump cover and directly view the rotor components. The rotor components are easy to install and remove, and no adjustments to various clearances are required during assembly. During pump maintenance, there is no need to remove the suction and discharge flanges, pipelines or motor.
A double suction pump is between bearings structure with its impeller installed in the middle of the shaft, and the outstanding feature of the double suction pumps is a split case with a double suction impeller, which enables the fluid to enter from both sides.
