What is a boiler feed pump?

A boiler feed pump is classified as the multistage pump, in the four to twelve stage range, pressure rides on stage count. They achieve the highest differential head among centrifugal pumps. Different from high pressure plunger pumps, multistage centrifugal boiler feed pumps can deliver a greater flow rate.
